ELECTION INFORMATION – for those who have not already requested an absentee ballot



 Note at time this is posted 1040 of our 3040 voters have received a ballot already.  This means Election day and Early Voting will be less crowded, please consider these Voting options.  Scroll down for all information:


Important registration and voting information


REGISTRATION OPTIONS:  if you are not registered to Vote in Town of Grafton


  • You can register in advance online at

  • You can fill out an application and mail or drop it off in person at Town Office (application available on website at I want to…. VOTE )

  • Visit Town Office and fill out an application in person


All three options require an acceptable proof of residence.


Registration is available at Town office until October 30th  


You may also register at the polls on Election day, November 3rd, keep in mind it may require waiting time.




  • Vote at the Polls – Tuesday, November 3rd 7:00am-8:00pm at Grafton Town Hall, 1201 11th Avenue.  Please, bring along acceptable Photo Voter ID.

  • Early Voting In-Person by Absentee Ballot – at Grafton Town Hall, 1201 11th Avenue beginning Tuesday October 20th – Friday October 30th   Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and Friday 8:30-Noon. Please bring along acceptable Photo Voter ID.

  • Voting by Absentee Ballot by mail – you may request an absentee ballot at any time at, or by returning the application received from Wisconsin Elections Commission, or by visiting Town Office to complete your application.  All applications must be returned with copy of an acceptable photo ID and at least 2 weeks before election to allow mailing time.  All ballots must be returned by 8pm on Election day.


Options for returning your Absentee Ballot:


  • Mailed ballots will include postage paid envelopes which you can simply return via USPS.  You may track your ballot also at

  • You may drop them at our office – Monday -Thursday 8:30-4:30 or Fridays 8:30-Noon

  • We also have a drop slot in glass by office door for use when we are closed only. This slot puts them into a locked area until we returned the next day to obtain them.

  • You may also return ballot on election day to Grafton Town Hall. 

  • BE SURE BEFORE RETURNING YOUR ENVELOPE, THAT IT IS SEALED, SIGNED BY YOU AND BY A WITNESS (anyone over age of 18 who is eligible to vote) WHO ALSO NEEDS TO LIST THEIR ADDRESS.  Missing any of this information will delay or possibly void your ballot
