We apologize first of all for the lateness of this email/text, but we wanted you to know why we have been having issues with Garbage & Recycing of late.
WASTE MANAGEMENT HAS RECENTLY ACQUIRED ADVANCED DISPOSAL
With this acquistion, there has been many changes in the drivers, route managers, customer service reps, etc. and we continue to have a different driver every pick up day. The Town has been receiving many phone calls every day regarding issues with the service and quality of service, please know we are continuing to work with Waste Management to improve on their service quickly.
If your garbage/recycling pick up time has changed from what it was regularly, we are pushing to get back to our regular schedule as soon as possible. Be aware with new drivers all the time, your pick up time will continue to vary to most anytime of the day. Once we have acquired a permanent driver the schedule should get back to normal. Our 2021 Schedule was sent out earlier and is on our website.
Please continue to have carts out by 6 a.m. and report to Town Office via phone call at 262-377-8500 or email to email@example.com as early as possible the next day if you were missed. We will do our best to have you picked up the next day. The general all time rule is if you were not picked up PLEASE LEAVE CART OUT FOR THEY WILL CATCH UP THE NEXT DAY.
